It is about DNSSEC system, which stands for Domain Name System Security Extensions, which include ensure that the URLs on the Internet can be verified with the right owners and to ensure data is correct, for example, to prevent fake pages that have taken over a DNS name.

If the servers involved in DNSSEC, comes under attack, they will automatically disconnect from the network to limit the damage. To connect all the servers again, used a key, called the DNSSEC root key, which is split between seven smart cards awarded to seven individuals from England, USA, Burkina Faso, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, China and Czech Republic.

Five out of seven people are needed to restore the system, which is done by people flown to a secure place in the U.S., after which the key input, and the servers are connected again. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which overlooks the whole procedure.

No common wireless HDMI standard

There are several suggestions on how to transfer the image from such a Blu-ray Disc player to a TV, but according to a report from the firm In-Stat, there is no consensus about which one should use .

The three technologies, it is about is WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface, WirelessHD and WiGig (Wireless Gigabit), developed respectively by Israeli AMIMON, U.S. SiBeam and WiGig Alliance.

None of the technologies are compatible with each other because they differ markedly in operation in some areas. WHDI communicates so in the 5 GHz area in which the two other uses spectrum around 60 GHz.

WirelessHD and WiGig differs in that the latter can also be used for data communications between computers, as behind firms see it as the future of Wi-Fi standard. Among WiGig-alliance members will find companies such as Broadcom, Dell, Intel, LG, Microsoft, NEC, Nokia, NXP, Panasonic and Samsung.

In-State's conclusion is that none of the technologies are particularly ripe yet, and combined with the fact that they are fighting each other, they expect a very slow diffusion of new televisions.

With Loss Candy is the end, since it at the touch of a button, can see all his fanblade in what can best be described as an Exposé-like feature. Here it is possible to group tabs by dragging and dropping them so relevant pages belong together.

Yet this is an early alpha version of the function, and developer Aza Raskin has many ideas for what should be possible. In a video you can see below, he explains how Candy Tab works now and how he imagines it will look like when it is finished.

One of the features is being able to share its Loss Candy-groups with other, preferably in real time, so you can more easily cooperate. If you want to try Loss Candy, so it can be done by downloading the latest build.

AMD launches low-cost and low-power processors

AMD is well aware they can not compete on performance when it comes to having the most powerful processor, and has long focussed on delivering a good price / performance ratio instead.

With the launch of several new processors in their Opteron series continues to this approach , particularly processor Opteron 4122 sets new standards.

This is a 2.2 GHz quad - core processor with MB cache 8.6 sold for just $ 99, or just around 600 dollars , which is the lowest price yet for a server CPU from AMD. The cheapest server CPU from Intel cost comparison $ 167th

When the cheap processor has an energy of up to 75 watts , then the models EE 4162 and EE 4164 much more energy -friendly, with a consumption of only 32 watts. There are both talking about six - core processors. The former operate at 1.7 GHz and the second at 1.8 GHz - prices are respectively $ 316 and $ 698th

Several computer manufacturers is expected to announce servers based on the new Opteron series shortly.
