Blind man implements Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
With help from several friends have Canadian Jordan Verner completed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, without being able to see a stick.
The idea was Jordan Verner himself, and he put a video out on YouTube with a series of clips where he played the game completely blind. The video was seen by another Zelda fan, Roy Williams, who contacted Verner and offered to help him through the game.
Williams would completely practical and some friends play the game through and record every little detail, every roll, every stroke and every hop, which was then written down, and Verner could then sit, thousands of miles away, and get his computer to read the instructions up.
This major project took almost two years and 100,000 characters on the computer.
