iPhone more popular for game developers than the PSP and DS

According to a recent survey by Game Developer Research has game developers got a good eye for Apple's iPhone. Over the past year, the interest has grown so much that 19% of all game developers create games for iPhone or iPod Touch, significantly more than the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS.

25% of game producers make games market today games for handheld devices, which is more than doubling since the iPhone was launched, where only 12% of producers were interested in the handheld devices.

When Apple products attracts so much attention, it is because several factors, especially the method of distribution and severity to make a game are important. Apple's App Store is interesting because it makes it easy to distribute a game, and customers can not sell their copy on, when they do not bother to play it more.

The great interest in spite, it's still PC / Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3, which runs with the greatest attention, with respectively 70, 69 and 61 percent of the developers who create games for these platforms. Wii has conversely seen a decrease in the number of producers who are making games for the console, from 42% in 2008 to 30% in 2009.
